Top 5 Takeaways from Mega Camp 2026

You saw the notes right away, hundreds of you hopped on live - those core ideas as fast as you heard them in the room. 223 pages of them - so sorry if it was a little messy. A few of these typos gave me a good laugh - any favorites of yours?

"with a lick of a button"

"eomce" is actually "since"

I cannot spell "entrepreneur" for the life of me in these notes.

Reply back with your favorite idea or concept from the week - would love to hear what you found the most effective?

Heres' the 5 that are ringing in my head

Do you have a healthy relationship with fear? -Gary Keller

Gary's working on a new course, how to be stronger than fear. According to one of his models, to deal with fear you must train your brain to be stronger than fear. There are only 3 ways.

Affirmations, A Therapist / Mentor / Coach, Exposure Therapy

Affirmations [rooted in science and reality] - these are intentional thoughts to create new patterns and beliefs in your mind.

Therapist / Mentor / Coach - who is the safe person you can role and rehearse with? confidence only comes from repeated actions.

Exposure Therapy - you have to experience small doses of what scares you to get the "that wasn't so bad" learning to replace the fear.

You practice your way though fear. Put in your practice time.

4 different speakers talked about about how under utilized LinkedIn is by real estate professionals. You can use LinkedIn to find talent, find professional clients, and build your authority. Repurpose your email newsletters into LinkedIn newsletters - and put it out once a month.

Participating Beats Posting

This came up a few times as well. You have to be where your people are. So many of us are buried in our smartphones that Social Media is the fastest way to scale your visibility. If you're not the "on camera" type of person, - participate with your people on social media. Make it social. Leave thoughtful comments, engage with their posts, and celebrate their wins.

As Tommy Choi puts it

CFA - comment for Author / comment for Audience

The Four Commitments - Matt Miale

You control your process, not your outcome. These four commitments allow you to own the control again

1 - show up to everything - your attendance is not optional in your business.

2 - engage your world - talk to 5 humans, make new friends and put them in the database

3 - track your numbers - 5 out of 7 days a week, say your numbers out loud and say what you did - activities only, not closings.

4 - target 2 consults per week - focus your activity all on driving those appointments to teach your clients.

The behaviors you tolerate define your actual standards. What standard did you set for yourself this week?

"The People are People" - Simon Sinek

When you master human connection, it shows up in all aspects of your life: business, personal, and at home. You build trust the same way with clients and close friends.

Ask meaningful questions, then actively listen.

Ask follow-up questions that are rooted in curiosity, not in the next line of your sales pitch. Be genuinely interested in the person that is your client.

...Over the next few weeks, keep an eye out on Friday at 6am CT for hand crafted / synthesized one pagers from the keynote speakers and their models - giving you clear strategies you can implement immediately.

What resonated with you the most last week?

love, mike
